Volunteer Project Manager in Tanzania

Raleigh International uses the power of young people from around the world to create long lasting change. In Tanzania we work on water, sanitation & hygiene and natural resource management projects. In order to safely and effectively run our Expeditions we need volunteer managers to lead our projects and support the young volunteers while facilitating their development. 
When can I go?
Expeditions run all year round but we are currently recruiting for our autumn cycle
  • 14 September - 09 December
As a Project Manager you will;
  • Support a group of around 12-14 young volunteers on community, environment and adventure projects
  • Facilitate the personal development of the young volunteers
  • Encourage and motivate the young volunteers to effectively deliver the aims of the project
  • Inspire the volunteers to complete an impactful project
Please note this is a voluntary position, where fundraising is required. We ask all our volunteers to fundraise before the Expedition. Your costs are not fully covered by your fundraising. All volunteer managers are being subsidised to take part.
  • All living expenses included during the Expedition - food, accommodation, equipment
  • Full training and support before and during the Expedition
